Introducing Eclectic Eye Homeware

An Introduction to Eclectic

Based in South East London, Eclectic Eye Homeware aims to share the joy of vintage pieces, sourced husband and wife team, David Fox and Emma Burgin-Fox.

Often told they have an 'Eye' for all things vintage, but unable to define a particular style or era, the name Eclectic Eye was born.

Eclectic Eye was founded to give new homes to all of the pieces that were impossible to leave behind!

Eclectic Beginnings

A shared love of Antique Fairs and Vintage hunting meant that David and Emma's home became quite a talking point for friends and family - as they were complimented on the quirky finds dotted around their home, and started to receive sourcing requests.

Eclectic Milestones

Eclectic Eye started life on Instagram, but selling through Etsy has provided a global audience for their homeware picks.

Notable purchases have been made by LA Jewellery Designer Jenna Blake for her personal collection of Art Deco ceramics, and former Australian Vogue Stylist, Victoria Collison for her eponymous store in Sydney.

Eclectic Values

Eclectic Eye is naturally sustainable, focussing on giving new homes to pre-loved decor, nostalgic gifts and stylish pieces for drinking and dining.

Being eco-friendly whilst protecting delicate items is key, so packaging is always repurposed or recycled. This means that it may not always be the most photogenic - but will always contain a personalised, handwritten note.

Eclectic Plans

Eclectic Eye will continue to source pieces for sale online, but following a request from The Rose Hotel and Restaurant in Deal, also look to expand their sourcing services.

Eclectic Eye aims to spread their love of vintage homeware through fun, quirky and unique pieces. Items are sourced from the 1930s through to the 1980s, with favourite themes of animals and nature, and a nod to nautical and Mediterranean styling.
