Feathr, The Home of Artisan Wallpaper, today announces a new wallpaper collaboration with British artist Joanna Charlotte. Based upon an original artwork by Joanna, ‘Geode’ & ‘Malachite’ are stunning realisations of an artist’s craft as wallcoverings. The two new marble wallpaper designs are available in a range of nine colours, including two with luxurious metallic gold finishes.

Feathr’s mission is to fill the world with more art and less decoration. To do this, Feathr collaborates with artists from around the world to create original wallcoverings and fabrics. Joanna has previously collaborated with Feathr to create the sought after Cherry Blossom and Vera’s Garden chinoiserie wallpapers.
For this new collaboration, Joanna was inspired by natural malachite crystal formations. She hand-painted the original artwork in her studio, with painstaking attention paid to the detailing: down to the fine banding that typifies a malachite and geode crystal. The Feathr team then worked to adapt the artwork into a repeatable wallpaper panel. The artwork has been lovingly reproduced so that none of the original detail has been lost.

Malachite is available in seven colours, including dramatic deep blue Sapphire, on-trend sage green Moss and the subtle lilac tones of Amethyst. Malachite showcases the banding that typifies this kind of crystal formation, creating a charming wallcovering that features fine detailing within its abstract, organic design. Geode supersizes the concept into dramatic offset tiles, each cut through by gold metallic lines. Available on a luxurious gold metallic wallcovering, Geode comes in two striking colours: the rich blue Azure and vibrant green of Sapphire.

Malachite is available on a range of wallcovering materials for both residential and commercial projects, including non-woven, peel and stick and vinyl.
