Consumer interest in green interiors has soared.

New research from artisan textile brand Jan Constantine revealed searches on Pinterest for the term ‘green interiors’ peaked at an all-time high earlier this month.

And Jan Constantine, founder of her eponymous brand specialising in cushions, throws and wall-hangings, has her own theory as to why green is currently in vogue.

She said: “Green is a great colour to bring peace and harmony into the home and is renowned for its restorative properties. Given everything homeowners have faced over the last few years, it’s easy to see why so many are reaching for colours that will add calm and security.

“Given its connection to nature and the long-lasting interest of all things biophilic, green is really having a moment.”

Jan’s own collections are bursting with greenery. Here she picks out her favourite pieces, all of which are available from janconstantine.com
