Basalt & Dune is a store based in the centre of St Davids, Pembrokeshire. We are a mother and daughter duo: Nicola is an artist (you’ll see her beautiful coastal paintings and original prints online and in-store) and Gabrielle is a print and graphic designer. 

We wanted to create a store where people feel calm, relaxed and able to shop at their leisure. The beautiful surroundings of Pembrokeshire make you want to take a slower pace and to stop, look and appreciate. We wanted to convey this feeling of a life lived more slowly both in-store and online. We are so fortunate to have the beauty that West Wales has to offer right on our doorstep and we have chosen products that encapsulate the essence of our natural surroundings.

We work with artists and makers in Wales, the Marches and beyond to bring together our unique collection of gifts, homewares and lifestyle accessories that compliment coastal, country and city lifestyles.
