Made from 100% natural jute, this handloomed flat weave rug has been crafted in an Indian family-run factory.
The factory is run by a single family and the workers are paid a fair wage, are able to work in a safe environment and no child labour or discrimination exists in any part of the production.
The working methods of production ensure sustainability of materials; any excess from the manufacture is spun on the Charkha (traditional Spinning Wheel) and used again for the next piece.

We love the off white borders and scalloped trim around the edges of the rug, giving it character and making it the ideal bedside rug against natural wooden or rattan French furniture.
