Introducing the Layered Lounge Christmas 2022 collection

Suzy Humphreys, Founder of Layered Lounge says of favourite time of year: ' I've always loved Christmas, as did my parents. As a child our house was always filled with family and friends. A truly welcoming home, it was adorned with lights, the fires were lit, fresh greenery hung from the banisters and wafts of food lingered in the air. The nostalgia of those sights and smells stay with me today.

I love a big Christmas, with 20 around the table most years but for me also, preparing for the big day is all part of the fun. I spend days decorating with Christmas tunes blaring out much to the annoyance of my husband and kids, but like my parents I still love to keep it simple. Fairy lights and candles combine with garlands on the staircase and paper stars dotted everywhere. Trees in every room and simple colours and materials which invite but don't fright!  

My favourite is the Christmas table which was actually the starting point for our Christmas collection because its the place we spend most of our time. Lovely linens, pretty table decorations and candlelight create a special ambiance. A place where memories are made! Then of course there is the smell, because nothing speaks Christmas more than the scent of our Natal Christmas candle'.
