Bridget Riley

The National Galleries of Scotland in association with the Hayward Gallery in London are putting on a major retrospective exhibition of the work of Bridget Riley which opens in Ocober 2019.

Stylist Natalia Willmott created a black and white wedding scene for the York Wedding suppliers inspired by the work of this celebrated British artist. She called their couple Bridget and Riley and used textile designs of the 20’s. spots and stripes on linen and ribbons and cushions, white roses and candles with optical art labels to represent the feel of her work. The model wore a beautiful bridal gown but changed in a lovely black and white dress and was photographed the backdrop of disco lights inspired by Bridget Riley’s artwork.
