The Indoor-Outdoor Collection is a classic example of understated Danish design. Beautiful enough to be brought inside yet resilient enough to resist the long Scandinavian winters, it blends seamlessly into both environments, channelling the warmth and truthfulness of teak.
Designed by Bodil Kjær in 1959, the BK10's teak silhouette takes cues from the natural world, appearing as a natural continuation of the surrounding architecture. Look closely and you'll find that its slatted top is stretched between two square legs with runners that are mortised together – a detail requiring great skill and craftsmanship.
