Hand-crafted at Original BTC’s Stoke-on-Trent bone china factory using specially created plaster moulds, the Sopra shade – available in either a quilted, plain or ridged finish – fits similarly to standard downlights, instantly bringing visual interest as well as a soft, diffused glow. Production begins with the creation of three variations of mould, which are filled with a clay and water mixture, then left to set before the excess is tipped out to leave a lining of bone china which is painstakingly removed to reveal the shade.
