Description
Brilliantly blue British cornflowers. These iconic and distinctive flowers are fantastic for bees, beetles, butterflies and moths, and are a wonderful addition to any wildlife garden. They are also edible with a cucumber-like taste, and can be used in salads, as a garnish or infused as a tea.
Each tin contains 20 balls and each ball contains on average 8 seeds; each tin will provide coverage for 1 square metre in a garden, or 3-5 medium sized pots. Best scattered in Spring or Autumn.
The seeds are encased in a protective ball of clay, compost and chili. Containing nutrients and chili powder to deter slugs and snails while the seed ball slowly degrades and the seeds sprout. Easy to sow - no digging necessary - just scatter on top of the soil and nature will do the rest.
Contents: native wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder.
Made in Britain.
