We are thrilled to be showing our first trade collection of Love note silk cushions at Top Drawer, Spotted section in London from the 9th to 11th September 2018. 

Our My Billet Doux™ luxurious cushions are  handcrafted in silk and embellished with vintage or antique ribbons. It's a cushion with a difference as each one has secret back pocket to store a notebook and pen that come with it or to hide your heartfelt messages. 
 

Write a message, a love note in the notebook and leave it in the cushion to be discovered. Or keep a diary of thoughts hidden from view.

Buy a single cushion or a pair – one for each correspondent. How you use them is up to you. Their aim is to simply spread love and to create something lasting.
Every cushion is decorated with a strip of ribbon, some of which are extremely rare and date back to the 1800s. These add an extra layer of history and unique detail to the gift. The cushions are made from luxurious Indian silk douppion with a subtle sheen and come in a range of colours and ribbon designs, to suit any home.
 
Embellishments can also be added like vintage charms, each accompanied with a quote. Every cushion comes in a luxury gift box.
 
The Live Love Laugh collection was conceived as a family occasion cushion where milestones and happy events could be recorded or messages to different family members left. The ribbon that decorates this collection is a beautiful French 1940's picot edged striped rayon ribbon. The cushions are £220, while the vintage charms with quotes start from £18. Additional notebooks are £12 and pens £5.

My Billet Doux was founded in 2017 by Natalia Willmott, an art & antiques seller and an interior designer. She is based in York, but hails from Paris. She is also the founder of www.nataliawillmott.co.uk - an online collection of unique interior finds for unique people.  My Billet Doux (pronounced bee-yay-doo) literally translates as ‘sweet note’.
