The Wallpaper Compendium: a book of 113 new large repeat wallpapers in nine design stories, priced £175 for three rolls
Transylvanian design brand MINDTHEGAP launches its fourth annual wallpaper book, the Wallpaper Compendium, at Deco Home, Paris. A magnificently eclectic collection of 113 wallpapers in nine exuberant design stories, the Wallpaper Compendium is a world of intriguing combinations, creativity and free spirit.  Celebrating art, architecture, history, craft and culture from around the world, collections include Cubana, inspired by vintage postcards depicting the island’s louche heyday and the colour-based Indigo Addiction, a celebration of MINDTHEGAP founder’s Stefan Ormenisan’s favourite hue.  Botanical collections include Tropical Wanderlust, a verdant and densely detailed selection of palm-based designs, alongside the neo-classically inspired Le Manoir and The Royal Garden.  Bold and graphic, Origins pays homage to mankind’s great textiles traditions, while Revival celebrates the most impactful abstract shapes and patterns of the twentieth century.

Combining the impact of a mural with traditional wallpaper repeats, the one-of-a-kind Wallpaper Compendium perfectly showcases MINDTHEGAP’s artistic identity, rooted in Transylvania’s diverse ethnic heritage and melting pot of culture, craft and tradition.
