July 2020 – British homewares brand, Sophie Allport, has partnered with the Ruth Strauss Foundation to create an official bespoke range which will help raise money to support the Foundation's mission.
The new collection will include a fine bone china mug, tea towel and square scarf accessory which combines the Foundation's hearts logo with the Sophie Allport heart collection.

In December 2018, Ruth Strauss, wife of Sir Andrew Strauss the former England cricket captain, lost her life to a form of non-smoking related lung cancer. The Ruth Strauss Foundation was launched in her memory to provide professional emotional support for families facing the death of a parent from cancer - and drives the need for more research into non-smoking lung cancers.

Sophie explained: “We are so pleased to be able to work with the Ruth Strauss Foundation and support the incredible work they do. The new range will help raise crucial awareness and funds for the Foundation.”

The Foundation will be turning cricket red on Saturday 25 July, for this year’s #RedforRuth day, during the 3rd England Test match vs the West Indies at Emirates Old Trafford. Cricket fans are asked to unite by wearing red in support of #RedforRuth day and sharing pictures on social media, tagging #RedForFuth. Last year Lord’s turned red in support of the Ruth Strauss Foundation and raised an incredible £550,000.

“We are delighted with the support of Sophie Allport through the special RSF heart collection. It is a very welcome addition to the Ruth Strauss Foundation merchandise range and by purchasing the items people help us support families facing one of life’s toughest tests” – Karina Murtagh, CEO Ruth Strauss Foundation.

The bespoke collection will be available to purchase from 01 July at
www.sophieallport.com  where 50% of all online sales profits will go to supporting the Foundation’s mission. Official merchandise can also be purchased at www.ruthstraussfoundation.com.
