It may have been what is now their signature Snuggle Bed that sisters Christine and Jenny Chau launched their business with in 2010 but it was buying a poorly made bolster style bed that was the final straw before embarking on their journey of designing comfy and stylish beds for their own dogs; a journey took them from a quirky little hobby to happy customers in over sixty countries around the world.

Hugely committed to giving dogs a five-star sleep, the sisters have been contemplating what makes the perfect bolster style dog bed ever since. Drawing on ten years of experience of designing luxury dog beds, The Bliss Bolster Bed is Charley Chau’s answer to that question.
 
The Bliss Bolster Bed has a deep-filled luxury mattress as a base with four ethically-sourced duck down and feather bolster pads, which creates a cocoon around the bed for dogs to nestle into, rest their chins on, or simply squish and squash to their heart’s content. In between use, the bed can simply be plumped back to shape.

For a touch of additional bliss, Mini Bolster Pads are also available to offer a dog more options for total comfort. This new concept was originally designed for Anna - the grand dame of the Charley Chau pack at almost sixteen years old – as she is in need of additional support in her advanced years. Adult dogs spend an average of twelve to fourteen hours a day sleeping, so enabling a dog to sleep in whatever position they find comfortable at any point in time is really important. The Mini Bolster Pads bring that versatility to The Bliss Bolster Bed.

The Bliss Bolster Bed and optional Mini Bolster Pads are available in five gorgeous colourways (Jade, Lemongrass, Sienna, Pebble and Nimbus Grey) and while the Mini Bolsters have a practical function, their addition gives style-conscious dog lovers over 150 colour combinations to create the perfect Bliss Bolster Bed to complement their home.
 
The beautiful fabric that finishes this bed is Faroe, which has the look, feel and warmth of a woven upholstery wool but without any of the downfalls of wool. Faroe is tough; tough enough for heavy commercial upholstery with a Martindale Score of 100,000. Plus, Faroe has a stain-guard treatment that is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified and is a dream to spot clean in between washes.
 
As with all Charley Chau beds, The Bliss Bolster Bed has removable covers and machine washable everything, right down to the mattress and feather pads. Waterproof bed liners, spare covers and replacement pads are also available.
