Quiet Mark tests both the washing and spinning cycles of a washing machine. The quietest wash cycles can be just 46dB with the loudest coming in at 62dB, that's a difference of 16dB!
And, although the spin cycle is relatively short, the quietest models can be as low as 65dB with the noisiest registering 85dB. To put that in perspective, that 20dB difference would be perceived as 4 times louder, which is a massive difference!
