Twenty Birds has just launched with Friends of Joules. The series of beautifully designed unique cards and gifts have been recognised by The Joules team, ‘a UK based premium lifestyle brand who design and sell Joules branded lifestyle clothing, accessories and homeware.’  Online, they have been committed to find and work with small brands, who complement their range and ethos - ‘surprising and delighting our growing community of customers with a sense of fun and quirky Britishness.’
Twenty Birds was launched in 2018 by designer Monica Gabb. Monica began the collection of designs with a single screen-print and has grown not only in popularity but the range has extended from prints to cards, fine bone china mugs, 100% cotton tea towels and hand-made fabric hanging decorations. The abstract designs reflect colours and details of garden birds, yet the contemporary design make them stylish and collectable. The range boasts strong bold prints and celebrates bird forms in a fun and unique way, all designed and produced in the UK.
Monica Gabb, Twenty Bird’s owner, was keen to introduce her work to trade in 2020 with her first Trade fair at Top Drawer London. Disappointed as many this year in retail, physical fairs were cancelled but organisations adapted and pushed through with online equivalents. With so many shops struggling hugely due to lockdown and losing custom, taking a chance on a new brand is risky for most. Joules are actively shining a light and supporting small businesses.
