British textile designer Clarissa Hulse has designed a beautiful collection of silk scarves, coming in a striking range of patterns. The perfect Mothers’ Day gift, they are available to order now from her website.

Each scarf is made in the UK on a delicate, hand-rolled silk crepe de chine fabric. The botanical patterns are digitally printed in an array of vibrant colours and sizes.

Clarissa launched her business 25 years ago with a hand-printed scarf collection, which is her first  love in textiles. Their popularity on both sides of the Atlantic became her springboard for branching into homewares.

The collection comprises 14 different scarves in a selection of versatile sizes.
Cloud Forest is a tropical design that takes its inspiration from Clarissa’s trip to Costa Rica. It comes as a 90cm square and is available in peacock, fuchsia pink, sapphire blue and a blue/grey, retailing at £145.
Kismet is inspired by the serendipitous patterns that appear spontaneously on Clarissa’s backing cloth during her working process. The 67cm square scarf makes for an ideal neckerchief and retails at £110, while the generous 200cm oblong scarf can be worn in any number of styles and is available at £195.
September Meadow is an ombre design influenced by a late summer trip to Cranborne Chase in Wiltshire. There, Clarissa spent time in a beautiful meadow, where she lost herself photographing seed heads swaying in the sunset. The four colour ways come in the 200cm oblong style at £195.
There is also a jewel-toned botanical take on the classic Mandala, which shows a delicate flower surrounded by a stunning array of colourful leaves, radiating outwards to form overlapping circles, available as a 90cm square for £145.
The Palm Leaves design, with vibrant ferns is a gorgeous, multicoloured silk scarf. Taking inspiration from Clarissa’s memorable trip to the Costa Rican jungle, this pattern features a canopy of overlapping ombre palm leaves in iridescent colours from blush pink to amethyst, turquoise to turmeric. The Palm design is available for £110 as a 67cm square and 200cm oblong.

All scarves are carefully wrapped in gold printed tissue and packed in an elegant grey gift box.
