Original Style are delighted to announce their Tile of the Year for 2022, Wildflower Rose, in partnership with COAT Paints.

This tile isn’t just any wallflower either, Wildflower Rose features a delicate yet lively floral design inspired by the untamed wildflowers of the British countryside. Influenced by the cottagecore trend, the Wildflower range was ignited during the summer of 2020 when rural walks and exploring the great outdoors was a welcome escape.

Designed and produced in Original Style’s Devon factory, Wildflower Rose was created by their talented team of designers and craftspeople. ‘We spent many weeks of sketching and painting an abundance of wildflower varieties before working closely with our skilled production teams in order to bring these gorgeous tiles to life’ Jane Addis, New Products and Design Manager at Original Style.

Along with other new tile designs, Wildflower Rose has been added to the distinctive Living range. The wider collection includes Gold and Violet options but it was the versatility and modern edge of Wildflower Rose that led to its crowning for Tile of the Year 2022.

Original Style has been nominating a Tile of the Year for the last five years, selecting exclusive, must-have tiles that are truly unique and set to influence upcoming interior trends. Wildflower Rose will attract anyone with a love for the outdoors and this versatile design can be styled to create a range of different looks - contemporary or traditional.

To further showcase versatility and inspire a series of settings featuring Wildflower Rose, we’ve teamed up with COAT who have picked the perfect paints to complement Wildflower Rose.
