Galentine’s Day gives us another reason to celebrate with friends - many of whom we may not have spent as much time with as we'd have liked over the past two years. Just as we have seen the trend grow for embracing seasonal occasions and go all out with decorations and celebrations in our homes, Galentine’s continues to gain momentum year after year. The event provides a brilliant opportunity to gather your gal pals together and make some wonderful new memories to cherish. Indoor picnic vibes
“An indoor picnic is the ideal way to keep things informal, fun and intimate, which is perfect for both Valentine’s and Galentine’s Day. Setting this look up is super easy and takes very little time but is sure to create a memorable impact. Simply use an existing coffee table, one that is fairly low to the ground works best. Placing a round rug under the coffee table will give the space a cosy feel. A selection of scatter cushions and pouffes will ensure your guests are sitting comfortably. Don’t forget the all important glassware, this bring a sense of occasion to proceedings.”
Your heart's desire
“Valentine’s and Galentine’s have a key thing in common, celebrating love! Whether that’s for your romantic partner or for your gem of a bestie, incorporate some heart-shaped elements to the celebration for an extra layer of cuteness. Fill heart-shaped stoneware dishes with a selection of sweet treats and go the extra mile with some heart-shaped ice cubes for your Valentine’s cocktails.”
Dim the lights
“Lighting is key for an atmospheric setting, especially for a late afternoon or evening celebration. This year, Galentine’s falls on a Sunday and as we’re still very much in winter mode, ambient floor lamps and candles will cast a cosy glow for you and your guests. Use tall candles and candle holders to add some height to the coffee table set up.”

“If there’s a time of year to embrace romantic reds and pretty pinks, it has to be Valentine’s!
