Our work is mainly influenced by our philosophy and our country of production, Portugal. Not only that, also our personal passions, dreams and needs influence our work on a daily basis. We as onomao have a very personal connection to each and every product because we did not only pour our heart and soul into it, but also our enthusiasm and, obviously, the traditional Portuguese craftsmanship formed every single unique product.

But who are "we"? We are Arthur and Felix. Two brothers who, in addition to a great passion for surfing, share a great love for aesthetics, creativity and individuality - and all of that combined in craftsmanship. Our love for the planet is at least that great. For us, living and working sustainably and doing things differently and much more consciously with a lot of commitment - in addition to fair trade - are the conditions for everything we implement. This awareness, need and passion is shared by our team. 

The interior label onomao has focused on the design and production of tableware and rugs. Other product groups are coming very soon. The ceramics and rugs are handmade in factories in Portugal. We maintain very close contact to our producers and are regularly in Portugal to work on new projects together. 

onomao is a genuine project of the heart for us: a large part of our team is friends or even family. Besides being able to let our passions flow into our work, onomao allows us to actively participate in a climate movement, which we contribute to not only through sustainable and fair production methods, but also through our financial commitment: in addition to our membership in 1% for the planet, we are able to regularly support relevant organisations that work for the health of our planet. We feel immense gratitude for that.
