Lightweight and soft to touch, cork is a wonderful raw material being naturally water resistant and easy to clean. The cork selected by LIGA is sourced from the Montado Forests in Portugal and is hand harvested using age-old skills without damaging the trees or the delicate eco-systems which thrive in the forests. Once cork has been made into a LIGA product it continues to absorb CO2 in your home, so a living piece of furniture.
