Small room makeovers are big news this spring, and independent wallpaper design house Ohpopsi believes even the tightest spaces will benefit from a maximalist makeover.
Using data from Pinterest Trends, Ohpopsi has discovered that searches for the term ‘small living room inspiration’ are up 80% from the previous year, while ‘small full bathroom ideas’ are up 2,500% for the same period.
Zoe Eaton, Creative Director at Ohpopsi, said: “It is clear there is interest in creating stylish small spaces, and one of the easiest ways to inject character and personality is bold, patterned wallpapers.
“There is a myth that small spaces should be kept simple when it comes to décor but pattern can make a room feel bigger.
“Treat the room as a blank canvas and be as brave as your personality will allow.”
