Designed by iconic designer Massimo Castagna, this novelty represents Tonelli's debut in the universe of sofas where glass becomes the frame for a play of shapes and materials.

Balanced between lightness and modularity, just a glance is enough to surrender to the unconventional style of Soft Glass, the new and first sofa by Tonelli Design and designed by Massimo Castagna. An evolutive path that sees glass as an ally in creating synergies with other materials and conquering the upholstered furniture universe to create a complete living environment.
The brand's Art Director's latest creation is composed of soft, generously filled volumes for a seating system that introduces a new way of designing space. A vision of modular design with modules that allow original, dynamic and informal compositions, meeting new trends and, in the case, anticipating them. In both the larger and smaller configurations, the sofa retains its visual lightness thanks to the base which is always made of stratified glass feet supporting a wooden platform on which the upholstered elements rest. High-quality fabrics and refined details in the upholstery are the hallmarks of a design with an unconventional character.

"Designing this sofa was a great challenge for us," confirms Michele Gasperini, brand manager, but at the same time it was electrifying. With Massimo Castagna, we wanted to create something different, something that would allow us to break free from a sector in which we are not specialists, but at the same time would enhance our intrinsic qualities, what makes Tonelli a unique brand. Glass is our strength and here we have put it at the service of upholstery by betting on the quality of every detail and the result has gone well beyond expectations”.
