A Yoga & Wellness Market Place For Female Founded Brands

"I am deeply passionate about addressing the underrepresentation of women as CEO’s and founders in both High Street and Online Retail"

My name is Judes Emanuel, an entrepreneur and founder of Warrior Addict Ltd - a Yoga & Wellness Marketplace dedicated to showcasing some of the very best female-founded, independent brands this space.

I am deeply passionate about addressing the underrepresentation of women as CEO’s and founders in both High Street and Online Retail. Notably, among the top 20 retailers in the UK, none are led by women (please see my research below). Women also face significant underrepresentation in terms of investment, with companies founded by women receiving less than 3% of venture capital investments, and women representing less than 15% of investors *

My mission, both with my own brand and the brands we've partnered with, is to empower and support women in our industry to flourish and succeed and to play a small part in turning this narrative around. Instead of putting ourselves first our goal is to foster a fledgling community of female founded brands that values transparency and shared information. By acting as a collective, we will be able to - more easily, gain traction in terms of boosting sales revenue and exploring potential investment opportunities for both our brands and Warrior Addict.

We've proudly launched with five incredible brands, each contributing their unique expertise. For instance, Katia Kaia, a yoga teacher, and artist, brings her global experience to create yoga mats adored worldwide, even by celebrities like Ariana Grande. Additionally, Joanna from Elan’s Skincare founded her brand with extensive experience in formulation, combining science and natural plant-based products to deliver an outstanding skincare range. Then we have Heike from Germany who has launched a women’s yoga brand that is one of very few brands to have been aired a cradle-to-cradle certificate for sustainability.

Our aspiration is to grow organically or with the right investment partnerships making sure that we always nurturing our brands and providing our customers with truly incredible product listings.
