William Morris garden parasols launched by Plia Parasols.

Using William Morris outdoor fabrics created in England by Sanderson, Plia Parasols has created a range of luxury garden parasols to elevate the gardens of British homes

With the William Morris philosophy centered around connecting the indoors and the outdoors, there couldn't be a better fit for outdoor furniture that aims to bring interior decor style out into the garden.

Crafted in a Grade II listed Lancashire factory, the William Morris floral fabrics feature designs from 1861 and 1875, filled with charm and energy.

The fabrics are resistant to rain, stains, mould and UV-fading, meaning these unique parasol should stay looking just perfect for many years to come.

"Having grown up less than a mile from Standen House, a National Trust property which is almost entirely decorated with Morris & Co fabrics and wallpapers, I've spent my whole life knowing and loving those unique and timeless prints.

Now living in an Arts & Crafts house myself, and a grown up lover of Liberty and their William Morris inspired fabrics, William Morris was one of the very first places I turned to when hunting out fabrics for our own range of luxury parasols." Alex Sudron. Founder of Plia Parasols.

About Plia Parasols

Plia Parasols make hardwood garden parasols with interiors-worthy upholstery fabrics, sourced from across Europe.

Whether for period houses or architect-designed properties, the company focuses on choosing fabrics that reflect the textures, style and quality found within the home. Whether heavy-weight and woven, or linen-look and patterned, Plia Parasols' fabric canopies are all sewn in England, and designed to withstand fading, staining or tearing for many years.

The team believe in buying less often, buying better quality, buying what you love, and then keeping, caring and repairing.

Plia Parasols' frames are made from eucalyptus hardwood, that can be sanded and re-treated when needed, the joints are all strengthened with rust-resistant marine-grade steel, and the company only deal in full-length poles, so there are no weak spots to go wobbly over time. Should someone get heavy-handed, Plia Parasols frames are 100% repairable, for maximum sustainability.

The company manufactures in small quantities, allowing the team to be hands-on with every detail of production, and to minimise waste. Plia Parasols welcome bespoke orders, to make a parasol that matches the uniqueness of their customers' homes, gardens and personal style.
