Cast Bronze Saucepan
Cast Bronze Saucepan

Bronze is as old as civilisation itself and has been used for cookware across the centuries

Recently it has been overlooked in favour of cast iron, stainless steel and copper for premium cookware. We believe this misconception is because normal bronze reacts to foods however Kansa bronze does not.

At Eaglador we use this specific type of bronze called Kansa for our cookware. It is widely used in Indian markets where it is considered to be the healthiest metal to cook in. Kansa has a high tin content [78% copper 22%tin]

The high tin content makes our cookware non-reactive to foods, naturally non-stick and non-toxic with no surface coating. The copper in the alloy is ultra conductive. Its a winning combination for premium cookware.

Combining high aesthetic standards, and functionality, Eaglador is distinguished by the high quality of it's handcrafted bronze cookware designs.

Our artisans engage with rough surfaces set against highly polished molten ones, dark versus light. Ancient and modern. Extreme contrasts and visually appealing weighty objects that hold gravitas and stir visceral emotion.

What captures us is that objects born out of the chaos of fire and furnace can be polished into beautiful, desirable objects that eventually find their way into some of the most beautiful homes in the world.
