In 1954, at a time when few mothers were starting their own business, Véronique Michel-Dalès created "Les Jeux du Djeco". Her collection, which was both educational and fun, was an instant success and Véronique's talent was rewarded in the 1960s with 4 Toy Oscars.
In 1989, Frédéric Michel-Dalès, who had been chief tester of his mother's inventions throughout his childhood, took over the family business, which was dormant at the time. With a heritage of fantasy and imagination, he imported new toys to France from all over the world then he decided to create products that could not be found anywhere else.
Today, in the historic Parisian workshops nestling near the Seine, 70 enthusiasts work very seriously, without ever taking themselves too seriously, to amaze children all over the world. With total freedom and no regard to commercial constraints, they come up with funny, beautiful and intelligent games for young and old alike.
