Homeowners looking to level up their flooring need look no further than Woodpecker Flooring’s exquisite Highgrove Design Panels.

Inspired by royal residences, the luxury flooring panels are handmade to order and boast sharp angles, distinctive patterns and strong shapes to bring refined sophistication to the home.

They feature a criss-cross effect pattern surrounded by a distinctive wooden border to frame the distinctive design.

Darwyn Ker, Managing Director of the family-run Woodpecker Flooring, said: “The effortless elegance of our luxurious design panels belies the painstaking processes involved in creating them individually and by hand.

“This is statement flooring that evokes the timeless elegance of the past.”

Measuring a mighty 750cm x 750cm, each design panel commands attention.

Consisting of multiple sawn blocks and shapes, panels are assembled by hand, using traditional tools and techniques to craft a mini masterpiece every time.

Hammering, planing and sanding finishes each panel to perfection, with the different grains and angles bouncing the light in different directions to create varying textures and tones.

Highgrove Design Panels are available in three finishes: Limed Oak, Royal Oak and Aged Oak.

Suitable for use with underfloor heating, Highgrove Design Panels come with a 100-year guarantee.

Woodpecker Flooring’s range of Design Panels are available now, priced at £250 per m2. Panels are handmade to order.

About Woodpecker Flooring

About Woodpecker Flooring:

Woodpecker is a family-run business with a heritage in the timber industry that goes back three generations.

Founded nearly 50 years ago by Bruce Ker, a skilled craftsman who loved teaching people how to work with wood, the Woodpecker tradition is continued today by his son Nelson and grandson Darwyn.

Since the very beginning, Woodpecker have been passionate about designing and sourcing the finest wooden floors.

Their dedication starts in the forest. Woodpecker only use responsibly sourced wood with full FSC® or PEFC certifications, selecting the trees before they are felled and paying close attention to how they are sawn, stacked and dried.

The dry wood is then kilned twice for maximum stability before being machined. Centuries-old hand-finishing techniques - such as lacquering, oiling and antiquing the wood - further enhance its natural beauty.

It’s fair to say, nobody knows or cares more about wood than Woodpecker.

Headquartered in Caerphilly, Woodpecker currently offer over 60 flooring options in real wood, engineered wood and bamboo which retails online and at nationwide stockists.
