Why green is the go-to shade for tranquil bathrooms

Interest in green bathrooms is climbing, according to new research from R2 Bathrooms.

Using data from Google Trends, the bathroom specialists found searches for the term ‘green bathrooms’ has soared over the last 90 days.

Kate O’Brien of R2 Bathrooms said: “Nature-inspired shades of green bring a relaxing, tranquil touch to bathrooms, so it’s no surprise to see homeowners embracing the hue.”

Homeowners who want to inject colour into their own bathroom schemes, without undertaking a full renovation, should consider installing a new vanity unit.

Searches for ‘Green Bathrooms' within the Home and Garden category, have increased from an indexed score of '0' on January 17, 2025, to '85' on April 16, 2025.
