RHS CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW PRESS RELEASE

Architectural Plants’ Nursery Garden in the Great Pavilion at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025

We Invite You to Join Our Celebration: 35 Years of Growing, Innovation, Education & Excellence

Architectural Plants is proud to announce its debut stand in the prestigious Great Pavilion (Stand GPE 068) at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025. From 19th – 24th May, visitors will step into a bold horticultural theatre celebrating 35 years of pioneering propagation, growing, visionary garden design, and next-generation training—all rooted in a singular mission: to redefine what plants & gardens can be.

Growing & Planting

You are invited to explore an exciting and immersive world created with plants grown by our Nursery experts and curated by our Garden Design Studio team. Discover an extraordinary mix of unique, exotic and architecturally dramatic plants, including some rarely seen in UK gardens. Expect to see a mix of the nursery’s most iconic and sculpturally striking plants, topiary forms, and unusual hardier exotics: Trochodendron araliodies, Ginkgo biloba, Acacia pravissima, Myrtus apiculata, Pseudopanax ferox, Arbutus x andrachnoides to name but a few.

The True Home of Architectural Plants: Inspiring & Informative

The true home of architectural plants, this will be a showcase of shape, form and texture to inspire and inform garden enthusiasts, curious plant hunters and professional horticulturalists alike.

Design & Innovation

Design & Innovation informs everything we grow, plant, make, and build. An intricate pathway has been created to lead visitors on a journey through the nursery garden into different display areas and informative spaces that demonstrate our pursuit of aesthetic excellence through form and flow. On the way, you find the Grower’s Cabin, a hand-crafted garden pavilion built as a welcoming point to meet our team for conversation, information and horticultural discussion.

A Site of Horticultural Excellence – Where Learning & Creativity Takes Root

Growing the Next Generation

As a site of horticultural excellence, a key pillar of our company’s mission is education. Architectural Plants proudly runs the AP Homegrown Apprenticeship Scheme. This nurtures young talent with hands-on training and mentoring giving them access to a wide spectrum of roles. This equipes them with real-world skills and a creative mindset for a career in horticulture. Our apprentices have made a considerable contribution to our exhibit this year and we will be celebrating their achievements with you.

Meet the Team & Explore Our Vision

On Press Day and throughout the week, our team of designers, growers, apprentices, and creatives will be on hand to talk about growing, garden design with architectural plants, plant care, and creative maintenance; offering visitors a chance to connect directly with the obsession, passion and philosophy behind the plants. Of course, there’s more which people are less familiar with. We now sell plants online. We have the largest collection of unique pots in West Sussex and we deliver across the UK.

Guy Watts, owner of Architectural Plants, will be available for interviews on Monday & Tuesday and will also be speaking at The Monument Talks at 4pm on Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd, offering insights into our growing and design philosophy, our nursery collection, and the importance of a socially-minded business approach and planning for the future.

“We’ve always believed in a very clear mission: to redefine what plants and gardens can be. Chelsea is the perfect platform to showcase what 35 years of obsessive growing, designing, innovation and investing in young talent can produce. We’re thrilled to bring our world to the Great Pavilion” Guy Watts
