Introduction

Petra Štefanková is a multi award-winning painter, illustrator and designer based in Bratislava in Slovakia. She creates colourful semi-abstract scenes of people, nature, animals and more. The artist finds her inspiration in travels around the world depicting the visual languages of various cultures.

How it began

She studied graphic design and film and television graphics in Bratislava, Prague and London. In 2007 she won Channel 4 4Talent Award in the UK and in 2008 she became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in London.

She has exhibited her works and published them globally. Exhibition highlights include Kunstraum Kreuzberg Bethanien in Berlin, Heritage Museum in Hong Kong or LACDA in Los Angeles. Her artworks have been featured in many publications worldwide.

About Petra Štefanková

Exhibition highlights include Kunstraum Kreuzberg Bethanien in Berlin, LACDA in Los Angeles or Heritage Museum in Kong Kong. She won Channel 4 4Talent Award and is a Life Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in London. She is also author and co-author of books and short animations.
