Interest in Victorian-inspired interiors is on the rise, according to new research from independent tile retailer Porcelain Superstore.
Using data from Pinterest, Porcelain Superstore found searches for the term ‘modern Victorian interiors’ has increased 30% over the last month.
It comes as Porcelain Superstore launch two new Victorian-inspired floor tile collections for the home and garden.
Introducing Chelsea and Midlake.
Chelsea combines classic Victoriana with a 21st-century styling.
Featuring a statement chequerboard pattern, these tiles offer the look of luxurious marble but because they are crafted from Italian porcelain, they are resistant to stains, scratches, and moisture, making them as practical as they are striking.
Chelsea is available in six colourways: White, Ivory, Green, Rosa, Red and Nero, and homeowners can mix and match to create the chequerboard of their dreams.
Alternatively, for those who want a ready-made style statement, Porcelain Superstore has created four ‘mixed’ packages, which combine Green, Rosa, Red or Nero tiles with a White for a look that never dates.

Like the Chelsea Collection, Midlake is crafted from hardwearing porcelain and requires minimal maintenance to retain its stunning looks.
Both Chelsea and Midlake Chequerboard are available now from Porcelain Superstore; Chelsea is priced from £49.75 per m2 while Midlake Chequerboard 2cm is £53 per pack.
