Our VHT-15-R is a combined bird feeder and water station made of Corten steel, featuring a flat roof, a clear and minimalist design language, and a complete absence of decorative excess. It integrates seamlessly into both contemporary architectural settings and natural garden environments.
Leading ornithologists, including Prof. Dr. Peter Berthold, recommend year-round care for native wild birds – not only by providing food but also water, especially during hot and dry periods. The VHT-15-R bird station offers both: an open water basin and a feeding area under a wide overhanging roof that provides effective protection against the elements.
The choice of materials is as thoughtful as it is durable: the supporting structure made of Corten steel features a natural accent through its characteristic rust patina while being entirely weather-resistant. The horizontal wooden module made of untreated larch is structured with finely milled grooves – highlighting the constructive character and lending the ensemble a calm, technical elegance.
At its heart is a generously sized porcelain bowl with a capacity of nearly one liter. The bowl can safely freeze in winter without the risk of cracking. A perch separates the feeding from the drinking area. An additional bracket allows for the attachment of a suet ball, attracting even more feathered visitors to the station.
A well-designed, low-maintenance, and aesthetically refined solution for year-round bird feeding.
In addition to the Corten steel version, variants in stainless steel or with an additional white powder coating are also available.
