Simon James Home, the luxury soy wax candle brand in Kent, has completed a successful week-long pop-up at John Lewis Bluewater, with several bestselling fragrances selling out ahead of schedule and glowing feedback from customers.
Running from 23rd June to 29th June 2025, the pop-up marked the brand’s first presence within the iconic department store chain and was met with a wave of enthusiasm from both regular customers and new fans discovering the brand for the first time.
Highlights from the Week
• Several scents including Warm Jasmine & Sandalwood and Rose, Geranium & Green Leaves sold out before the end of the week
• Footfall exceeded expectations with a significant uplift in online traffic and social media engagement, during what was expected to be a slow retail period due to an unexpected heatwave
• Dozens of new customers joined the Simon James Home email list and loyalty programme
• Strong interest from other retail partners and boutique buyers
The pop-up featured a curated edit of Simon James Home’s most popular collections, including the Cocktail Collection, Bakery-Inspired Candles, and Designer-Inspired Scents such as Black Pomegranate and Leather Books. Every candle is vegan, made with premium soy wax, and packaged plastic-free in recyclable materials. For every order placed online, the brand plants a tree, reinforcing its sustainability promise.
