📖  Our mission 

We are here for everyone affected by cancer.

Together with our inspiring community of supporters, volunteers and fundraisers, we are proud to give help, hope and a voice to people affected by cancer. 

Our services include a free nurse-led support line ( open to anyone affected directly or indirectly by cancer) This service is available 365 days a year. 

Our benefits advice line advises on how we can help with benefits, grants and financial support whilst you are facing cancer. Last year over 1800 people used this service to obtain better financial support.

We have 3 mobile treatment units ( pictured), to support people who live in more remote communities. These units deliver chemotherapy and lymphoedema care onboard. 

Our "sing with us" choirs offer support and friendship during difficult times. We have 15 choirs throughout Wales. Our most recent evaluation of our "Sing with Us choirs" found that, for the 1,491 choristers we asked, 94% made friends through the choir and 87% felt that the choir was a major part of their lives. 

How we raise funds 

Like most charities we raise funds in many ways, through fundraising activities such as events, Trusts and grants, legacies and the very generous donations from our supporters. However a large amount of the income we generate comes from our 50+ charity shops located throughout Wales (with a few in the UK too). In addition, we established our online shop in June 2023 which sells a huge range of home decor and gift ideas. This online shop is run by the Tenovus team and therefore all profits made from the sales come directly back to the charity, so no third party fees to pay. We are grateful for the support of our suppliers and the journalists on Press Loft who regularly feature our products. 

New Online Shop Ranges 

We introduce new ranges to our online shop every few weeks. We work with some specially- selected suppliers and currently have over 700 items in our online shop, starting at a £3.99 price point. Our most popular ranges are home decor, gifts and jewellery. We regularly receive the support of some amazing journalists and Editors. This range shown is one of our incoming Autumn ranges " The Magic is you" which is a perfect blend of Autumn colours and scents.

Our Welsh heritage 

Although we are based in Cardiff, Wales - we do help anyone, from anywhere with advice and support. We are also thrilled to be working with Carrie Elspeth, a jewellery designer based in Wales. Her collections are designed and hand-made in Cowbridge. Her signature style uses glass beads and semi-precious stones, and prices start from only £17.50 for her popular "sentiments" range of bracelets. We thank Carrie for working with us, and enabling us to feature her gorgeous products in our online shop. You can find more of her ranges in our Press Loft gallery.

Christmas Sneaky- Peak 

Our Christmas rages will launch in early September. We have hundreds of lines for gifting and decor coming in, all at incredibly affordable prices. Our "Winter Wonderland" range brings Alpine accents to your festive home, with the essence of snow-dusted pine trees and cosy log cabins. Our mini pine -cone candles are sure to be a great hit. 

We will be publishing our Gift Guide towards the end of September. 

It's going to be a Holly Jolly Christmas !

Get ready to rock around the Christmas tree with our Nostalgic Christmas collection, a festive blast from the past, packed with bold colours, retro typography, and vintage-inspired holiday cheer. If Christmas had a greatest hits album, this would be it!

Launching in early September this range will contain around 30 items of home Decor, starting at £3.99.
