2025 is the year of the sage green bathroom.
Research from premium bathroom specialists Roper Rhodes found searches for the term ‘sage green bathroom’ within Google are higher in 2025 than any other point since records began within the search engine’s Home & Garden category.
Andy Pugh, Head of Marketing for Roper Rhodes, said: “Sage green is a calming hue, renowned for bringing a sense of tranquillity and balance wherever it is used.
“And as bathrooms have evolved from purely functional spaces into spa-like havens that are designed to restore and rejuvenate, homeowners are embracing the serenity of sage green.”
New for 2025, Roper Rhodes has expanded its timeless Hampton Collection of fitted vanity units to include a Matt Sage Green colourway.
The Hampton Collection, which is an homage to Shaker-style design, boasts subtle moulding and tongue-and-groove detailing.
Available in Matt Sage Green across six different sized vanity units, from the compact 400 Cloakroom through to the extensive 1200 Undercounter Double Basin Unit, this unique colourway can be used as either an accent colour or a neutral to revitalise bathrooms and ensuites.
Andy added: “Perfectly at home in traditional and modern bathroom spaces alike, sage green has become an approachable and versatile colour that combines the fresh and timeless appeal of green with the warmth of more neutral tones.”
Roper Rhodes carried out the research using the Google Trends platform, which takes into account over 3.5 billion searches a day.
Roper Rhodes’ Hampton Collection is available now, with prices starting at £468 for a cloakroom vanity unit.
