Helen Round began making linen bread bags in 2012 and her signature linen bread bags are available in a wide choice of designs and colours. They help to keep artisan bread fresher for longer and each one comes with a sturdy cotton tie and hook, great for easy closure and storage. Patterned bread bags have been individually screen printed, by hand, using traditional screen-printing techniques.

Helen Round says: My daughter is a keen baker and together we have designed this bread bag which is both stylish and practical. We are often told by customers that our bread bags make great gifts so we are delighted to have reached the final of the Best Gift Category in The Artisan Founder Awards.


With Sourdough September on the horizon, the Helen Round team is putting together plans to support this key initiative from The Real Bread Campaign. The campaign celebrates genuine sourdough and the people who make it. They aim to highlight the benefits of additive-free bread, particularly Sourdough, which is the perfect bread to store in their lovely linen bread bags.

Helen Round is a Cornish textile designer and maker of contemporary textiles and homeware. Her products are screen printed by hand onto linen using traditional artisan techniques. 


Inspired by the Cornish landscape, Helen’s beautiful, unique, eco friendly and functional handcrafted pieces are made in her Studio in South East Cornwall by a team of skilled local artisans. They combine high quality with ethical production processes.


Helen Round products are in demand all over the world, with clients in the Far East and the US requesting bespoke products. She sells online at www.helenround.com and has one dedicated outlet at Maker Heights in the beautiful "forgotten corner" of South East Cornwall.


The Helen Round product range includes; cushions, lampshades, draught excluders, glasses cases, make up bags, toiletry bags, coin purses, napkins, bread bags, tea towels, bowl covers, produce bags and peg bags. She produces bespoke products for some outlets and brings out new products each year.
