ufurnish.com, the UK’s No.1 Search and Comparison website for home furniture and furnishings, is delighted to announce the winners of its 2025 Home Awards, recognising those who create and share their beautiful interiors and designs of their own home, including content creators, influencers, home innovators and bloggers. Held at a glamorous ceremony at the Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel, central London, Friday, September 5 2025. The second year of the ufurnish.com Home Awards, in partnership with media partner Metro, had more than 1,000 entries and celebrated a wealth of UK talent in 18 categories, from ‘Before and After Transformation’ to ‘Best Show Stopping Home Feature’ – see below for full list.

Abbey Brown @casacrank won the Overall Public Vote
Abbey Brown is a prominent UK home content creator with more than 430,000 followers on Instagram and 99,000 followers on Tik Tok. Abbey is a primary school teacher turned content creator. She started to share her renovation and journey and love for DIY, upcycling and building in 2021 when getting married and moving into a house they could just about afford all happened in the same month! Abbey's goal is to inspire and encourage people to have the confidence to have a go.
Claire Douglas @clairedouglasstyling won the Judges’ Choice
Claire Douglas is a DIY expert who shows her followers and readers how to do bespoke on a budget. Claire likes to keep it real with the content she shares using her platform to share creative, money-saving and unique ideas for DIY and home styling with the intention of normalising smaller homes.

The ufurnish.com Home Awards attracted 22,920 public votes across 1,003 entries. ufurnish.com assembled an incredible line-up of expert judges to adjudicate the Home Awards. This year’s judges were:
- Barbara Chandler, the UK’s most respected home interiors journalist with more than 50 years’ print and digital experience.
- Max McMurdo, author, TV presenter and Dr of Sustainable Design.
- Eva Sonaike, vision designer and business owner renowned for luxury home furnishings with a vibrant West African aesthetic.
- Jayne Dowle, award-winning journalist and author on homes and gardens for more than two decades.
- Deborah Arthurs, editor-in-chief of Metro who oversaw the launch of the popular ‘What I Rent and What I Own’ property series.
- Nicky Rampley-Clarke, freelance interiors, property and homes journalist who is working on his first book bringing together their passion for homes and entertaining.
- Nicki Bamford-Bowes, renowned interior and furniture designer and contestant in Series One, BBC Two’s Interior Design Masters.
- Wayne Perrey, widely known as the TV Carpenter is a writer, presenter and DIY expert with his own weekly column in the Sunday Times Home section.
- Deirdre Mc Gettrick, founder of ufurnish.com and the ufurnish.com Home Awards. A visionary business leader whose technology platform is changing the way Brits furnish their homes.
