Rory Hutton is delighted to introduce his latest scarf collection—created with collectors, connoisseurs, and lovers of historic interiors in mind.

This elegant new series is inspired by Rory’s personal collection of silverware and the many auction catalogues and country house sales he has explored over the years—places where grand pieces from the state rooms sit alongside humble objects from the servants’ hall. Rory has a deep affection for such collections, which reveal generations of history, layering, and living—qualities he continually seeks to capture in his work.

Of the new designs Rory has said, “I see these scarves as portable interiors: fragments of history you can wear.”

For this series, Rory has imagined three distinctive interiors: the Kitchen, the Drawing Room, and the Boudoir. Each scarf has been meticulously illustrated using hand-crafted linocuts and is designed not only to be worn, but also appreciated as a work of art—an object to be collected or even framed. This series will appeal to those who love the art of collecting, historic interiors, and the understated charm of the whimsical.

The designs include:

Boudoir

Part fantasy, part nod to a romantic past, with a lit à la Polonaise, an Empire daybed, a Grecian harp, and antique scent bottles.

Available in soft pink, 90 x 90 cm, 100% silk.

Drawing Room

A celebration of layered grandeur, featuring tasselled curtains, gilt pier glasses, rococo scrolls, ancestral portraits, and an Art Deco telephone.

Available in rose red, 90 x 90 cm, 100% silk.

Country Kitchen

Evoking rural charm, with labradors dozing by a cast-iron range, copper kettles steaming, and a kilim rug—framed by a delightful border of servant bells.

Available in vibrant green, 90 x 90 cm, 100% silk.

Together, the series forms a visual love letter to the layered richness and beauty of the English country house, where objects from different periods live side by side—each with its own tale to tell.
