As a brand, it has gone from Furniture Choice to Furniture And Choice in 2020 and debuted its first TV ad in 2023. This year, the business transitioned to a new platform and underwent a website upgrade to ensure improved functionality and maintain its 5-star levels of service. F&C has also expanded to Asia with its first online store opening in Malaysia last year.
“We continue to expand our product line, whether that’s through new designs or extensions to our successful ranges,” Tom Obbard, Managing Director of Furniture And Choice says. “This year we’re excited about our modern table designs and we have gorgeous new velvets in stunning colourways that we’re applying to multiple sofa and chair designs.”
As it looks toward the future, Furniture And Choice continues to place importance on sustainability. “Sustainability has always been a fundamental part of our business,” Tom says. “On day one, we committed to only use wood from sustainable sources and we’re always looking for ways to reduce our environmental footprint. All our packaging has been recyclable for a few years now and we continue to expand our recycled fabrics and improve existing materials.”
On reaching this milestone, Tom weighs in, “It’s satisfying, but tiring — like running a marathon with no end! When we first started, people weren’t used to the idea of online furniture shopping — especially buying sofas. Everybody told me that it wouldn’t work, but I was quite determined. Obviously, now it’s no big deal to order furniture online, and everybody wants a piece.”
