The Royal Albert Hall and British designer Victoria Eggs are proud to unveil a truly unique collaboration: the Bees at the Hall Roof Slate Coasters, hand-finished in Wales and crafted entirely from the Hall’s original roof slate.

Each limited-edition coaster offers a rare opportunity to own a genuine piece of the Royal Albert Hall, a British cultural icon that has housed generations of world-renowned artists, musicians, and performers. 


The slate, carefully reclaimed during essential restoration works, has been transformed by Welsh slate specialists Slate House into a timeless keepsake of craftsmanship, design, and heritage. Laser-etched with Victoria’s Bees at the Hall illustration which was inspired by the real beehives that thrive on the roof of the Royal Albert Hall in their custom-made hives.


Each piece celebrates the Hall’s commitment to sustainability and biodiversity in the heart of London. Every coaster is part of a limited run of just 1,600 - clearly marked to reflect its place in this exclusive edition, making it a meaningful collector’s item for design lovers and music fans alike. Perfect as a conversation starter or a thoughtful gift, this coaster celebrates British craftsmanship at its finest.

Every stage of the making process honours the circular economy: historic slate that might have gone to landfill has instead been up-cycled into a functional, beautiful piece of design. The coasters are cut, polished, and laser-engraved by skilled craftspeople in Wales, ensuring minimal environmental impact and zero waste.
