Heating & Plumbing London creates thoughtfully made blankets, picnic rugs, umbrellas and everyday accessories designed to bring warmth, comfort and quiet joy to daily life — whatever the weather.


Like good tea and unpredictable weather, most of our pieces are made in the British Isles. We focus on practical, well-crafted and quietly considered products — the kind of pieces that become part of daily life rather than seasonal fads.


The idea for the brand came about on a chilly day in November 2016, whilst strolling along the Thames. The weather turned colder than expected and we started longing for warmth — better blankets, snug socks and comfort that would last. Just as the rain set in, a Heating & Plumbing van pulled up beside us — and the name stuck.


OUR STORY


Hello. We are Brij and Franck.


We met in Manhattan in 2001 and eventually made London our home. Brij was born in India and raised in the UK; Franck grew up in Brittany, France. Between us, we share a deep appreciation for places where weather shapes daily life and where quality and durability matter.


Heating & Plumbing London emerged from that sensibility.


We make objects designed to respond to life’s rhythms — warmth when it’s cold, shelter when it rains, and comfort for everyday moments. These are pieces that fit into routines, get used often and stay around — not products that fade with the season.


All of our products are made in the British Isles, with longevity and quality at the centre of every design.
