At the heart of the range is the Monza desk, defined by its distinctive herringbone surface. Carefully arranged with alternating grain directions, the pattern highlights the natural beauty of the timber while introducing a quiet sense of rhythm and order to the workspace.

Fully FSC certified, Bix reflects ercol’s ongoing commitment to responsible sourcing and considered manufacturing.

Compact and versatile, the Ballatta desk is designed to sit comfortably beyond the traditional home office. With its slim proportions and integrated drawer, it works equally well in a hallway, bedroom, or living space, offering a refined solution for moments of focus without dominating the room.

Designed by Matthew Hilton, the Treviso desk combines understated elegance with everyday practicality. Subtle detailing and generous proportions provide ample space for laptops, notebooks, and work essentials, while integrated drawers keep surfaces clear and composed. Acknowledging its design excellence, Treviso has been awarded the prestigious Design Guild Mark.

Across the collection, thoughtful storage plays a key role. The Ballatta, Monza, and Treviso desks all include drawers to help maintain an organised, uncluttered workspace, reinforcing ercol’s belief that good design should support both function and wellbeing.

“Our desks are designed to bring a sense of calm and clarity to the home. By pairing natural materials with thoughtful, functional details, we’ve created pieces that support focused work while still feeling unmistakably ercol.”

About ercol

ercol was established over 100 years ago in 1920 by Italian designer Lucian R Ercolani in High Wycombe, the centre of English furniture making. He was intent on designing and producing relevant and honest furniture, design and people were the cornerstones of his company from the very beginning. This remains true of the company today, it remains family owned with Lucian’s great grandson heading up the business to continue his beliefs today.

Design has always been at the heart of ercol. Our designs constantly evolve to reflect how we live today. We have a talented In-house design team and furniture technicians, to create and develop our furniture designs, we also collaborate with external UK designers to create unique pieces all of which are made with integrity and fit for purpose.
