Rowen Hosts Its First Christmas

Rowen welcomed a mix of North East press, local influencers and trade partners into its Metrocentre flagship store on 18th November for the brand’s first-ever Christmas VIP event. The evening offered guests an exclusive look at Rowen’s festive collections and styling ideas ahead of the Christmas season.


Guests explored the store after hours with fizz, festive nibbles and guided styling conversations with the Rowen team. The event showcased the brand’s signature neutral-luxe Christmas aesthetic, featuring curated décor, gifting favourites and seasonal accessories designed to help customers create a calm and beautifully styled home for the holidays.


Festive Workshops: Gift Wrapping & Wreath Making


Two creative workshops added a hands-on element to the evening.

Luxury Gift Wrapping with Forbes Finishings

Rowen partnered with local business Forbes Finishings, with expert gift wrapper Aoife Forbes demonstrating elevated wrapping techniques using Rowen bows, stems and ribbons.

Wreath Making with Rowen’s Sharon

Store consultant Sharon guided guests through decorating their own festive wreaths using Rowen florals and ornaments, with each guest creating a personalised piece to take home.

Rowen was pleased to welcome representatives from High Life North and Living North Magazine, alongside local influencers and trade contacts. The event offered press the opportunity to experience Rowen’s in-store styling, product quality and festive ranges firsthand.

A Successful Start to the Season

Taking place ahead of the brand’s busy Black Friday period, the event provided a timely opportunity to spotlight Rowen’s Metrocentre store, highlight key seasonal collections and engage with local press and creators as the Christmas shopping season began.


The success of the event marks an important milestone for Rowen Homes, with plans underway to introduce further in-store experiences and community-focused events throughout 2026.
