This bath measures in at a length of 800mm and a width of 500mm, which makes it perfectly sized for smaller pooches.
The market for indoor dog-bathing spaces has grown in recent years as more people look to make their homes more pet-friendly, even giving them their own bathing areas.
According to Google AdWords, around 140 people per month search for dog bathrooms or washrooms, as well as for ideas in how to create those spaces.
In response, Sanctuary Bathrooms has launched the Chien tub as a way of enabling people to bathe their beloved furry friends in supreme luxury - indoors or outdoors.
As it stands, many dog owners opt to wash their dogs in the bath or shower. While this is fine for larger pooches, it can be a little overwhelming for smaller or more nervous dogs. This can cause issues with bathing, with many people suggesting the basin as a better alternative. However, the elevated height of most bathroom sinks can also pose problems for your pet, while the issue of fur clogging up the drain is another ever-present risk.
The Chien bath not only gives dogs their own space, but its compact size makes it far easier to clean and maintain. In terms of hygiene, it keeps pet and human washing areas firmly separated, whilst also reducing the risk of clogs and blockages.
Existing dog baths are either large-scale wash stations or intended purely for outdoor use, making them both inflexible and unsuited to everyday homes.
The Chien tackles both of these points with its size and portability, giving owners plenty of flexibility in choosing where they wash their dogs. Better still, it provides pets with a bespoke, luxury option that mirrors their owners’ tubs.
Unlike human-sized freestanding baths, the Chien doesn’t require any form of plumbing. It can simply be picked up and moved to the preferred location, then filled and emptied as needed.
