This private residence project stems from the radical renovation of a 1980s villa set within a hilly, natural landscape and is designed by Gariselli Associati, whose architectural approach translates the client’s requirements into a rigorous, measured and distinctly contemporary language. The intervention is shaped by a clear system of values—order, compositional clarity and spatial quality—which informs every design decision, from the redefinition of volumes to the careful selection of materials.

Within this architectural framework, material choices play a decisive role. The flooring in Atelier Désir by Listone Giordano extends throughout the house, acting as a unifying element that connects spaces, functions and levels. The narrow, elongated boards emphasize the directional quality of the interiors and reinforce the architectural perspective, contributing to a coherent and legible spatial narrative.
