HENRY BLAKE HARDWARE TO EXHIBIT AT LONDON DESIGN WEEK 2026, DEBUTING NEW COLLECTIONS AND DESIGN COLLABORATION
Henry Blake Hardware will be exhibiting at London Design Week 2026 (9 – 13 March) at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour. The brand is one of a select few invited to showcase as a House Guest, taking a pop-up stand on Design Avenue and offering visitors the opportunity to discover innovative makers and collections not found within the Design Centre’s permanent showrooms.
Specialising in bespoke cabinet and door furniture, luxury hardware brand, Henry Blake, is known for its distinctive designs, quality materials and meticulous attention to detail. The brand’s roots lie in creating fully bespoke, Art Deco-inspired hardware, a foundation that continues to inform its ever-evolving collections today, and offering expert advice on full hardware coordination and specification.
At London Design Week, Henry Blake will showcase a curated edit of its latest designs alongside historic favourites, presented in both brass and bronze. Visitors will be invited to see, touch and experience the brand’s solid brass hardware firsthand, where they will discover pieces defined by their weight, finish and enduring quality.
Making its debut at the show is a brand-new collection designed in collaboration with Michelle Katz and Josie Lywood, founders of interior design and architecture firm, Q Design House. The collection will be introduced through two variations of one of Q Design House’s iconic cabinet handle designs.
Michelle comments: “Henry Blake's finishes are exceptional so we wanted to partner to create a product that showcases the beauty of the materials without decorative elements that would detract from this. At the same time, we wanted a design that suited both contemporary and traditional furniture, and could be scaled to fit a bedside table, as well as oversized doors.
“The handles are designed to work as a pair or in isolation, coming in two options to fit: one that surrounds the cabinetry edge to avoid any visible screws, and one that can be fitted to any cabinetry thickness. The varying lengths allow you to really play with how these can be placed. I imagine them looking stunning spanning the full length of a wardrobe door to give that glimmer of the finish along the full height of the doors.”
Henry Blake will also preview a series of artistic, design-led pieces created in-house and crafted in Portugal by one of the brand’s specialist manufacturers. These include a round, rosette-style design and a long, slender Art Deco-inspired twist handle, demonstrating the brand’s more expressive and sculptural capabilities.
The show will also be used mark the unveiling of three new sizes of its popular Darwin Lautner Cabinet Knob collection, expanding an established range to offer greater choice for high-end residential and commercial interiors. Alongside its more classic pieces, the brand will highlight elements of its growing collection of organic hardware, inspired by the flowing forms of the natural world.
The founders and owners of Henry Blake Hardware will be present throughout London Design Week, welcoming visitors and offering insight into the design process, material selection and craftsmanship behind the collections.
London Design Week runs from 9 – 13 March at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, bringing together the global design community for an immersive celebration of innovation, creativity and craftsmanship.
