Buon Appetito! Oliver Bonas Introduces New Mediterranean-Inspired Tableware Collection

Sun-kissed colours and playful motifs bring Mediterranean escapism into everyday homeware.

Sun-drenched colour, market-fresh motifs and laidback coastal charm set the scene for the Oliver Bonas spring/summer 2026 homeware collection. Introducing Buon Appetito, a vibrant new tableware range inspired by the Mediterranean islands.

Drawing on the art, sculpture, signage and bustling markets of Ibiza, and infused with the relaxed charm of the Amalfi Coast, the collection celebrates joyful escapism and effortless summer living. It’s designed for sharing meals and creating memorable moments.

Sun-kissed colours return

Mediterranean styling is shaping the seasonal aesthetic, embracing a sun-soaked look through classic blue-and-white detailing from the Amalfi Coast. Alongside hand-painted typography and vibrant citrus motifs that capture relaxed coastal charm.

Warm orange and terracotta tones, paired with natural wood and earthy textures such as rattan bring painterly energy to the range. The palette evokes a sense of Mediterranean escapism, bringing sun-soaked charm into everyday interiors.

Freshly picked

At the heart of the collection are statement ceramics, vases and glassware that bring warmth and personality into everyday living spaces. Designed to be styled rather than stored away, the pieces work beautifully on open shelving, layered tablescapes and relaxed kitchen displays that feel effortlessly collected over time.

‘In addition to our usual ceramic shapes, we have explored more experimental silhouettes, including a sculptural lemon option,’ explains Head of Home & Gift Design, Kate Butler

Hand-painted lemon motifs, classic blue-and-white detailing and expressive Mediterranean-inspired lettering introduce a sense of holiday charm, while playful fruit embossing adds texture and delight. The collection’s show-stopping hero piece, the Sicilian-inspired Luca plant pot, crowned with citrus slices, creates a striking focal point on shelves and table settings alike. Displayed alongside plates and glassware, the signature pieces set the tone for a sun-soaked coastal mood that feels both nostalgic and fresh.

Time for tapas

Extending the story beyond blue and white, the Buon Appetito tapas range introduces a sun-kissed palette of rich reds and vibrant oranges inspired by ripe tomatoes, sweet peppers and Mediterranean sunsets.

'We wanted to create a summertime tablescape to transport you to the Mediterranean, with shared snacking plates and kitchen accessories that incorporate colourful fresh produce designs,’ explains Senior Home & Gift Designer Anna Proctor.

Layer snacking plates over woven placemats, scatter bowls among antipasti and small bites, or style plant pots and wall art on shelves to extend the Mediterranean story beyond the table. With bold colour, playful motifs and thoughtful detailing, the range encourages informal entertaining and joyful everyday living, turning meals and shared moments into a sun-drenched celebration.

About Oliver Bonas

Oliver Bonas is an independent British lifestyle brand, designing our own distinctive take on fashion and homeware. We sell online internationally and from 90+ stores across the UK and the Republic of Ireland, operating as an omnichannel business across multiple platforms. We’ve always been excited by fresh thinking and the alchemy of great design and its power to uplift and inspire. Since our first store opened in 1993, our mission has remained constant throughout: to do our bit to make living a joyful experience and give cause for optimism.

It all began with our founder Oliver Tress, the owner of Oliver Bonas. His love of design and exploratory spirit were born out of his upbringing in a creative family living in a variety of diverse countries across America, Asia and Africa. Olly set up the first Oliver Bonas store in London in 1993 and, three decades on, our product teams channel his restless curiosity into distinctive, feel-good fashion and homeware.

Oliver Bonas has progressed from curating others’ designs to developing our own, bringing ideas to life in our in-house creative studios. New products land in store and online every week.
