The story behind MYRN Silk

Introduction

MYRN Silk is a UK-based, husband-and-wife founded silk brand creating bold, beautifully printed alternatives to traditional plain silk pillowcases. Designed to bring colour, personality and luxury into the growing silk sleepwear space, the brand offers a fresh take on everyday essentials.

How we began

Named after our daughter "Mirren" who has the most fabulously thick, golden and wild hair, MYRN Silk began with a simple idea. To create silk pillowcases that felt both beautiful and distinctive. What started as a personal search for something special quickly turned into the concept for bold, expressive prints that didn’t really exist in the market.

Our Launch

After developing the concept at home in Guildford, the founders launched MYRN Silk in February 2026, with their first collection of 25 momme, 6A grade mulberry silk designs. Each piece is created in collaboration with a UK designer and launched as part of a collection of luxury prints inspired by nature, colour and everyday beauty.
