There are certain designs that define a brand from the very beginning. For XV Interiors, it was always the stripe.


Born from a simple but uncompromising idea, founder Izzey Hung set out to create bedding that felt truly coastal—timeless, tactile, and made to last. At a time when many stripes were printed, she was drawn instead to the depth and integrity of a woven jacquard, where colour and pattern are crafted directly into the fabric itself.


But it wasn’t just the weave that mattered. It was the blue.


Finding the right blue proved far more challenging than expected. Too bright felt artificial. Too muted lost its coastal clarity. What Izzey was searching for was something specific—an inky, confident blue that held its depth against crisp white, reminiscent of open water, harbour lines, and long summer horizons.  That pursuit became an obsession, and ultimately, a signature.

Soon after, Izzey met designer Vicky Sanders, whose textile expertise and instinct for storytelling helped shape what would become the brand’s visual world. Together, they built a collection of hand-drawn designs inspired by life on and off the water—each one designed to sit alongside the stripe, never to compete with it.

The stripe remained the foundation.

Now, in a moment that both honours its origins and marks its evolution, XV Interiors formally introduces Harbour Stripe—a name that reflects not only the design, but the feeling behind it. Calm, enduring, and quietly confident, Harbour Stripe captures the essence of coastal living: structured yet relaxed, classic yet entirely current.


Woven in Portugal using high-quality cotton, the collection celebrates craftsmanship in its truest form. Unlike printed alternatives, the jacquard weave gives the stripes a richness and longevity that deepens over time, while the carefully developed blue retains its depth wash after wash.

About XV Interiors

Inspired by a deep connection to coastal living and the ocean, XV Interiors captures the essence of relaxed, considered interiors with sustainability at their core.


XV Interiors was born from a meeting of minds. Founder Izzey Hung had long nurtured a desire to reflect her love of the water—life on it and beneath it—drawing particular inspiration from the Isle of Wight and the Hampshire coastline she calls home. Frustrated by a lack of high-quality, sustainably made pieces that truly resonated, she recognised an opportunity to create something more meaningful. From this vision, XV Stripes was established.


A chance introduction to designer Vicky Sanders—formerly Head of Design at both Matthew Williamson and Zara Home—marked the beginning of the brand’s creative evolution. Together, they shaped the narrative and design language of XV, bringing to life a collection rooted in craftsmanship, storytelling, and a shared passion for coastal-inspired design.
